BRADFORD on Avon Museum has reopened to the public and now needs more volunteers.
The museum took a winter break just before Christmas and opened its doors again last week.
New exhibits – including a painting of Bradford on Avon by artist Jeanne Walpole who died last October – have been added at the museum during the winter break.
The painting, known as Cavalcade, shows the town in festival mood and compliments the centre’s many other exhibits, which include the old Christopher chemist shop, Moulton bicycles and a selection of photographs.
The museum now needs volunteer stewards, who can welcome visitors and share stories with them.
Museum trustee Mervyn Harris said: “If anyone has a couple of hours to spare, once a month, we’d really love them to contact us and we’d love to welcome them to the museum.”
