Much of Wiltshire was covered in a blanket of snow this morning as Wiltshire Police warn drivers to take extra care on the region’s roads.
Road gritters have been working overnight and this morning to help make the roads less hazardous for those travelling, but police are advising drivers to avoid unessential journeys.
During the night, a lorry jack-knifed travelling through Lower Pertwood, on the A350, near Warminster, after it lost control in the weather conditions.
The vehicle’s driver suffered minor injuries.
The road is open but is expected to be closed while the vehicle is recovered later today (Friday).
