An Orchid Day offering advice to the plant’s enthusiasts is being held at Whitehall Garden Centre in Lacock on Saturday, March 10.
Ian Parsons, chairman of the British Orchid Council, and Growth Technology will be hosting the event at the centre, in Corsham Road, providing customers with free advice and plant MOTs.
Mr Parsons said: “It gives orchid enthusiasts the chance to find out how to best look after their plants, as well as have any of their queries answered.
“People are welcome to bring their own orchids along. I’ll be able to give them a free orchid MOT during myclinic and diagnose any problems they may have, as well as give handy dos and don’ts on how to treat their orchids, especially when they’re not at their best.”
The Orchid Day will take place from 10am to 4pm.
