Wiltshire College's Bev Flanagan, vice-principal for enterprise, has quit her post after four years in the role.
Ms Flanagan is heading to Buckinghamshire University Technical College, where she will become principal.
She said: “I would like to take this opportunity to thank you all for your wonderful support during the time I have been here and I will miss everyone very much.
"I will also be moving out of the area but not too far away and I wish you all good luck for the future.”
Heather Cross, clerk to the corporation, said: "Following four successful years at Wiltshire College we wish Bev Flanagan every success in her appointment.
"Bev has made a significant contribution to the work of the college. She has been instrumental in creating the Wiltshire Enterprise and Skills3 brand, has considerably expanded our apprenticeship programme and developed our business work with over 2000 employers, resulting in a sizeable award-winning operation for the college."
Ms Flanagan takes up her new post in September.
