The Tate Modern gallery will stage an exhibition of work by Trowbridge-born avant-garde artist Jeff Keen next week.
The renowned artist, poet and filmmaker, who grew up in Trowbridge, died in June at the age of 88. He spent most of his life in Brighton.
The Tanks, at Tate Modern in London, runs from September 18-23, in a setting designed by him and featuring a large, dioramic screen. A live performance of The Tanks takes place on September 21, featuring projections, live music and live performances.
Brighton Museum is also planning a retrospective exhibition next month, titled Shoot the Wrx: Filmmaker and Artist Jeff Keen. It will run from October 27 until February 25.
