Wiltshire Council is consulting on proposals to introduce a 40mph speed limit on two roads in Melksham, and comments from local people need to be in by Monday.

The council wants to make the A3102 Sandridge Road 40mph from 190m east of its junction with Churchill Avenue to 55m west of its junction with New Road.

It also wants the new Melksham East Distri-butor Road to have a 40mph limit from 40m south east of Snowberry Lane to the junction with Sandridge Road.

Details of the proposals can be seen at Melksham Library, Lowbourne, during normal opening hours, until Monday.
