THE popular May Fayre at Christ Church Primary School in Bradford on Avon will be celebrating its 30th birthday this Bank Holiday Monday.
The family-friendly community event, the biggest fundraiser in the school's calendar, promises to draw the biggest crown yet this year.
Children's author Jeremy Strong will be making a guest appearance, joining ex-pupils and staff in cutting a 30th anniversary cake kindly donated by Bradford on Avon's Fat Fowl restaurant.

Children will have plenty to keep them happy including the giant inflatable slide and galleon, miniature steam train rides, roundabouts and a human gyroscope experience.
There will be an arts and crafts tent, live music, maypole dancing, circus skills, camouflage training and the three-mile fun run, starting at 2.30pm.
Raffle tickets for the 30th Anniversary Draw will be on sale with a chance of winning one of 30 great prizes including an overnight stay at a Malmaison hotel, two magnums of champagne, lunch for four at The Castle Inn or a relaxing evening at Thermae Bath Spa, courtesy of Future Heritage.
Neil Baker, headteacher, said: "The school's May Fayre is a much-loved event that has become something of a fixture in the Bradford on Avon calendar."
Display boards featuring photos of the fayre and school from the last 30 years, plus a special comments book for visitors to add their own memories of past events, will be on display near the Café.
The fayre is open 12noon-4pm, admission programmes are £1 available on the gate and children under-14 are admitted free of charge. A free shuttle bus will run from the station car park to the school throughout the afternoon.
