Daniel England
Daniel England

THE driver of a minibus operated by a Chippenham company has been charged with disqualified driving and fraud following a fatal crash on Wednesday morning.

The collison on the A420 near Marshfield at around 7.30am killed 18 year old Daniel England, who was from the Chippenham area, and left his 14 year old sister with head injuries.

The 56 year old Chippenham man who was driving the Faresaver bus is due to appear before magistrates this morning.

You would think that more stringent checks are made when drivers are hired for public services.
How does a disqualified driver ever get a job unless he was disqualified from driving while employed and did not declare this to the employer.

"charged with disqualified driving and fraud"

He should be charged with murder.

He knew what risks he was taking, everyone else did not.

Premeditated to some extent.

"charged with disqualified driving and fraud following"???

Surely he should be charged for manslaughter or something like that?

Why has my comment gone from this story????

Milky, theres a censorship issue going on here I think.
A whole story and comments about a jolly to some far flung destination by a mental health manager was wiped a day or so ago...gone....

From memory your post was nothing too 'strong'....

I don't know mate.
