Charlotte is the daughter of a Wiltshire farmer and is married to an IT consultant. She now works as an English teacher but also has wide experience of working in small business.
For twelve years I have realised that UKIP is the only party interested in protecting this country's democracy at both local and national level.
Both the Tories and New Labour, with the support of the Liberal Democrats, have complacently given our rights away to the unelected, unaccountable powers of the EU.
Of course Britain wants to trade with the countries of Europe but only as a free, self-governing nation state. The EU has been a disaster for British farmers and the countryside.
I want to see British farmers released from the burden of Euro bureaucracy. Agriculture needs some sensible home-grown policies which will allow farmers to make a fair living and face down the dominance of the supermarkets.
The countryside community needs representation at District Council.
