Dot Large
Dot is a former teacher and Town Councillor who takes part in a variety of activities within the town.
A member of Westbury Youth Centres committee for many years she is delighted that the kids of the town still have their youth centre but was saddened by the comments of the town council on the proposals for the youngsters having an empty shop in the High Street.
The comments were so negative and did a disservice to the best resource we have in Westbury - the youth!.
A member of the Health Forum she is very angry over the loss of the hospital and the irresponsible behaviour of the County Council's Health Scrutiny Committee in not to referring the closures to the Secretary of State.
In all of her years living in Westbury Dot believes that the town councillors in the last few years have spent more time bickering with each other, reporting each other to the Standards Board than working for the benefit of the people of Westbury.
