Charitable residents are being asked to be vigilant when giving money to people posing as Help For Heroes fundraisers and collectors.
Trading Standards has warned Wiltshire Police along with other forces to be vigilant for people posing as H4H fundraisers, and taking the money rather than giving it to the charity.
Police have said they do not want to discourage people from giving money to the Armed Forces charity but are just asking people to be more aware when giving money.
