Traffic disruption in Bradford on Avon after lorry sheds load

A lorry leaving the Kingston Mills site in Bradford on Avon spilt its load this morning, causing disruption to the town and closing Silver Street.

An MJ Church lorry was turning right out of Kingston Road onto Silver Street with its load of mud, but the load slipped from the tailgate onto the roads, pavements and shop doorways.

Police monitored traffic while workmen could wash and sweep the mud away.
