Bradford zumba-thon to raise money for Africa

An eight-hour non-stop zumba and circuit challenge will take place at St Laurence School on Saturday to help raise funds for an African charity.

Starting at 8am the day will commence with circuits followed by zumba at 9am and will alternate between the two until 4pm.

The challenge was set up by qualified instructors Trevor Bramble and Bernice Dick, in answer to one of their client's request to help raise funds for a new African charity she had recently set up.

Honor Sturley, from West Kington, set up Gamset, which supports education and training for young Gambian people, following recent visits to The Gambia and seeing firsthand the plight of many young Gambian people.

The charity has already been able to supply The Gambian Technical Training Institute with 16 computers, monitors, keyboards and associated products such as headsets and the institute now boasts its own IT suite.

Each fitness session is £5. For sponsorship forms email info@thegambianset.com
