Bradford on Avon Scouts weren’t afraid to get their hands dirty when they opened their own car wash in the station car park.
Around 25 boys raised £400 after washing 50 cars, with the money going towards attending the international Jamboree in Cornwall next month.
The car wash took place in Scout Community Week to raise awareness and funds for local and national scouts.
Assistant scout leader Chris Pugh said: “There was a steady stream of vehicles and the boys worked really hard in hour-and-a-half slots.
“They learned how to clean a car properly and it was good for people to get a different view of youngsters.”
