The HSBC bank in Bradford on Avon is closing down due to a decline in customers.
The branch in Church Street will close on September 13 and customers will be forced to use the branch in Fore Street, Trowbridge, or their local Post Office.
A spokesperson for HSBC said: “Customer usage of the branch has fallen significantly over the past few years as our customers use other HSBC branches or they are using the 24-hour convenience of cash machines, internet banking or telephone and mobile banking.
“This decision to close the branch was not taken lightly and we are working with customers who use the branch to help them re-organise their finances ahead of the planned closure.”
There will be no job losses as a result of the closure and all staff will be relocated to local HSBC branches.
