It was a fruitful day at Fitzmaurice Primary School’s annual Strawberry Fair on Saturday – described by organisers as the best one yet.
Juggling, plate-spinning, toy pig-racing and balloon modelling were just some of the new attractions at this year’s event which raises money for the Bradford on Avon school.
Julia Savage, vice chairman of the school association, said: “The Strawberry Fair is the highlight of our fundraising year. We try and have something new each year.
“The main thing was the weather. Instead of people drinking tea and coffee, we were running out of Pimm’s.
The fair included the official opening of the school’s three-classroom extension, which is already being used.
