Voters who were disappointed by the outcome of last week’s town poll have said they will be looking to come up with ways to address Bradford on Avon’s traffic problems even if it means appealing against the poll result.
Residents have taken to online community websites to echo their concerns with many hoping that a meeting, to be held on Thursday, February 19, will allow discussions to see how, as residents, they can help readdress pedestrian and motorist traffic.
Forty per cent of the town turned out to vote and there was a majority of 1,669 votes against compared to 1,315 in favour.
Details online have said that all are welcome to attend, even those against the pedestrian-friendly scheme, so that decisions can be made about what the town really wants.
The meeting will take place next Thursday at the Swan Hotel at 8pm.
