Bradford Town supporters caught a glimpse of the FA Vase trophy at the club’s last-16 tie against Highworth Town on Saturday.
The trophy was brought to the Trowbridge Road ground for display by FA officials ahead of the fifth- round clash with their Wiltshire rivals and fans were able to have their picture taken alongside the silverware.
Bradford chairman Les Stevens said: “It’s a very nice gesture and a great honour. It just makes the whole day a bit more of an occasion.”
The road to Wembley ended for Paul Shanley’s home team as they were defeated 2-0 by their county rivals. However Bradford picked up £2,000 for getting so far in the national contest.
