WILTSHIRE Heights care home in Bradford on Avon recently hosted an Afternoon with Adam Henson for residents and guests. This was a very well received activity where Mr Henson, after taking tea with the residents, went on to talk about his early life growing up on a farm, and how he now runs the farm with an emphasis on rare breeds. He also spoke about his work on TV.
At the end of the talk a collection was made to help raise funds for the new HUB@BA15 project for Bradford on Avon. A cheque for £200 was then presented at a residents Haven Café afternoon to Cllr Laurie Brown who, as a leading member of the Hub project, was pleased to accept the donation and to start what looks to be a long working relationship with Wiltshire Heights care home as an active participant in the local life of Bradford on Avon.
