THE Zone Club in Bradford on Avon have welcomed the donations of the Castle Inn pub who held a beer festival to fundraise for the charity.

The festival was held over the May day bank holiday and punters were able to raise £638.50.

Tori Hill, manager of the Castle Inn, along with Bruno Ellingham and Bert Appleton said the atmosphere on the day was exciting as there was so much to do for the town.

"We think the charity is a really good cause and it is related to music and we thought it fitted in quite well with our event."

They team presented the cheque on July 4 to the delight of its members.

Sara Milward-Oliver, Zone Club project manager said the charity was hugely grateful to the Castle Inn team. She added: "The Zone Club is a creative club for learning disabled young adults at Wiltshire Music Centre and every month the group comes together to make music, film and dance with outstanding musicians, filmmakers and specialist workshop leaders on a professional stage."

Since its inception, the Zone Club has worked hard to provide a safe, creative social space for disabled young people living in rural Wiltshire, who are amongst the most socially excluded within the community and it must raise over £25,000 each year to keep running.
