A LORRY driver suffered minor injuries after his vehicle overturned near Bradford on Avon on Wednesday afternoon.
Police, Fire and Ambulance services arrived at the scene shortly after 1.30pm in Leigh to find the eight-wheel lorry, carrying clay, in a ditch, overturned and off the road.
Two fire crews from Trowbridge and Bath, including a heavy rescue unit, were on the scene shortly before 1.45pm.
The male lorry driver was initially reported to be trapped but was not seriously injured and he was out of the lorry by 1.55pm.
The B3109 Leigh Road was blocked near the B3105 junction for Woolley Green before being reopened before 2.45pm.
A Police spokesman said the truck would likely be recovered by a specialist unit on Thursday (April 14) and warning drivers to proceed with caution if you are passing the area in the next 24 hours.
