BRADFORD on Avon's very own award-winning dramatic society is just weeks away from staging its latest performance in the town.

The theatre group will question whether young, passionate love can survive against a family background of hatred, suspicion and violence as they bring Shakespeare's star-crossed lovers, Romeo and Juliet, to the Tithe Barn.

Phil Courage, of the Bradfordians, said: “We’ve been rehearsing for around three months.

“We have a terrific and committed cast of 28 people and it’s going to be excellent.

“The Tithe Barn is the perfect setting for a play such as Romeo and Juliet and we look forward to seeing some big crowds.”

The performances take place between Wednesday, June 28 – Saturday, July , starting at 7.30pm.

Audiences are invited to enjoy a glass of wine and a picnic by the river during the shows.

Tickets are £12 for adults and £10 for concessions.
