DIGITAL marketing agency Varn put Bradford on Avon in the world press in 2015 by making the biggest paper bag in the world at Fitzmaurice Primary School for their client, Paper Bag Co.

Recently, they’ve been at it again with the latest ‘off-the-wall’ marketing campaign. This time they are putting together a Parkour film for a local timberyard called Timbersource.

The two–minute film was shot at the company’s timber yard in Shepton Mallet and features “breath-taking” acrobatics by Jacob Peregrine-Wheller, a well-respected parkour athlete and finalist in the TV show, Ninja Warriors.

Tom Vaughton, managing director at Varn, said: “We wanted a film that was unique and would, therefore, highlight how unique and quick the while you wait service Timbersource offers is. We had a lot of fun making it and had no accidents, although we did hold our breath many times!”

Stuart Kemp, chief executive of Timbersource, said: “Jacob Peregrine-Wheller agreed to work with us on this incredible project.

“He performs some breath-taking acrobatics as he runs through our timber yard, making use of the objects that are in his path for leaps and somersaults. It’s really impressive to see this kind of thing close up and in the film we’ve made.”

The parkour action was directed by film maker, Shayne House on Saturday, August 12 at the company’s timber yard which is about 1,650 square metres in size with some additional small external areas.

There was plenty of space and many obstacles for Mr Peregrine-Wheller to interact with during the shoot, including a forklift truck, wood piles, trucks and staircases.

The finished film, which is now being edited, will soon be available to watch at https://www.timbersource.co.uk/
