A FAMILY treasure hunt around the village of Winsley has raised around £200 to be split between three charities.
The event on Saturday, September 16 raised cash for Just a Drop, Hope & Homes for Children and Medecins Sans Frontieres, also known as Doctors Without Borders.
Around 50 families with young children took part in the hunt to find the hidden treasure after solving 20 clues about the village.
James Colquhoun, of Winsley Village Project, which organised the event, said: “It was an enjoyable village event for good causes and it was good to get families with young children taking part.”
