Police probe launched after car park drama

A MAN is in hospital after being hit by a car in a town centre car park on Friday night.

Police were called to St Margaret's car park in Bradford on Avon at 10.50pm following reports of an incident.

Officers confirmed a man had suffered serious injuries after being hit by a car. He was taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath for treatment.

Police sealed off the car park for most of the night while investigations were carried out. They are appealing for witnesses to come forward. A 43-year-old woman is helping police with their inquiries and was interviewed at Melksham police station over the weekend.
