Calling on budding chefs to join Bradford Leigh food contest

Chefs are being sought to take part in The Plough Inn’s latest food competition, being held at the Bradford Leigh pub at 7.30pm on Sunday.

This week’s competition is welcoming casserole or stew entries to be judged: a taste test is held and then votes are cast for the best entry.

There are prize for first,second and third, plus a booby prize.

Organiser Deborah Ingram, of The Plough Inn, said: "It is a fun way for all of the community to come together and have a laugh.

"They always seem to go down well. We always have a different theme and get regular entrants but we are very keen to attract even more people to take part."

Miss Ingram is considering making a cookbook of winning recipes in aid of Wiltshire Air Ambulance.
