It's your chance to have a say on where new bus shelter should be put in Chippenham.

The town council has issued a questionnaire for local residents to complete to help gauge where there is a need for more shelters.

Responsibility for providing and maintaining bus shelters falls to either Wiltshire Council, Chippenham Town Council or the bus companies themselves.

Some parts of Chippenham on the main bus routes towards Bath or Swindon are well provided for but there are other areas where residents have asked for shelters.

If you would like to share your views regarding bus shelter provisions in the town, questionnaires are now available from www.chippenham.gov.uk, Chippenham Community and Visitor Information Centre, the town hall or in the latest edition of Talk Of The Town.

Once completed they can be returned to the community and visitor information centre or town hall by Friday, March 14.

The town council will need to assess the number of people likely to use the stop to ensure that the cost of putting in a new shelter is justified.
