A CHIPPENHAM couple’s bungalow, decked out with dazzling fairy lights, is delighting youngsters at Monkton Park Primary School opposite.
The kids stop to wave at the twinkling Father Christmas as they pass by Janet and Wally Winsor’s home in Sadlers Mead.
Mrs Winsor, in her seventies, said: “We just like to do it for the children. I laugh when I see them waving back at Santa. We put it on in the morning for them arriving at school.
“All the cars stop at night to have a look and we’ve had lots of people ring us up to thank us.”
It took their friend Gary Norris seven hours to put up all the lights.
“He started at 8am on a cold morning and he didn’t finish until gone 3pm,” said Mrs Winsor.
