A 63-year-old man who is charged with two counts of rape against the same woman is to face trial by judge and jury.
Kevin Compton is said to have carried out the sex attacks on the woman between the start of September 2013 and the end of March last year.
Compton, formerly of Long Close, Chippenham, but now living in Kingsbury Square, Melksham, was released on bail to Monday, August 17, after a brief hearing at Swindon Crown Court.
