A THIRD man who was involved in the trade in hard drugs in Chippenham has been warned to expect a lengthy jail term.

Wayne Trought, 32, pleaded guilty to conspiracy to supply heroin and crack cocaine when he appeared at Swindon Crown Court.

And Trought also admitted possessing criminal property in the form of nearly £40,000 when he was arrested in late October last year.

Christopher Burgess, 48, and Raymond Dagostino, 32, admitted the drugs charges when they appeared before a judge in February.

The court heard that Trought was jailed for five years in 2003 for possessing heroin and cocaine with intent to supply.

Kannan Siva, defending, said his client was aware he was facing another lengthy jail term when he is sentenced.

Judge Peter Blair QC adjourned the case to Thursday, July 9, after the trial of two other people facing the conspiracy charges.

Paul Chevolleau, 41, and 51-year-old Beverley Jones are due to enter pleas to the allegation on Friday, May 8.

Trought, of Ingmir Road, Bristol, Jones, of Royal Oak Close, Chippenham, Burgess, of Bolts Croft, Chippenham, and Dagostino, of The Halve, Trowbridge, are all on bail.

Chevolleau, of Louise Raynor Place, Chippenham, has been remanded in custody.
