Wiltshire Police are appealing for witnesses after an alleged sexual assault in Kingsley Park, Chippenham.
A local woman, in her mid-twenties, is believed to have been assaulted in the park sometime between midnight and 6am today.
She sustained minor injuries and is receiving support from specially trained officers.
A Wiltshire Police spokesman said: "We would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard something suspicious between these times in the early hours of this morning in this local park.
"We have carried out house to house enquiries in the local area as our investigation continues.
"Also, to assure local people, we have stepped up our local policing patrols in this area.
