A MAN missing half his leg is wanted by police in connection with stolen items from a supermarket.
The incident happened at 12.35pm last Wednesday when the man entered Morrisons in West Cepen Way, Chippenham, and filled up three bags of shopping which he placed in the footwell of his scooter, before leaving without attempting to pay.
He is described as white, late 60s, of stocky build, with a short grey beard, grey hair, who was wearing a baseball cap, dark jacket and has an amputated left leg.
