A man, aged 57, from Corsham, who sexually assaulted two young girls more than a decade apart, has been jailed for three years and three months.
Antonio Ditoro molested one girl in Devizes in the mid-2000s. When her complaint came to light another told what had happened to her in the 1990s.
The father-of-five had denied all the charges, but a jury at Swindon Crown Court found him guilty. Robin Shellard, defending, said the offending was not the worst kind and came to an end well before police were called. Ditoro, of Yockney Close, must register as a sex offender for an indefinite period.
The first girl was about nine when abused. The second had been aged between seven and 11 when assaulted.
