A road in Lacock was closed this morning after a car crashed into an electricity pylon, knocking it down.
Officers were called to Bowden Hill at 7.55am after a red Ford Fiesta came off the road and hit the pole between Forest Lane and Sandy Lane. The driver of the car was not injured.
The accident caused some Southern Electric customers to lose power. Engineers worked on site to restore power and remove the fallen cables, with the road reopened at 11.25am.
