SINGERS from Heywood Prep’s choir got a taste of what life is like as a pop star as they performed with thousands of other students at the 02 Arena in London.
In front of a huge audience the Heywood Harmonies, from Corsham, took to the stage with 7,500 other pupils as part of the Young Voices choir.
In the past 17 years the Young Voices Choir has raised over £1m for children’s charities, such as CLIC Sargent, as well as money for the Young Voices Foundation which supports singing among young people.
Alicia Owen, from year six, said: “It was so amazing, I have never been anywhere so huge and I loved singing and dancing all night.”
