Stephanie Millward has given her seal of approval to the refurbished Dorothy House store in Corsham.

The Paralympian swimmer, from Box, cut the ribbon on Saturday before shoppers went inside to see the improvements at the High Street store.

She also gave customers the chance to see the five medals she won at the games in London 2012 and her Olympic Torch.

Manager Alison Nash said the transformed store is already a hit, with increased trade on the Saturday.

She said: “It was a very jolly day. Steph stayed until lunchtime – she was very nice and spoke to all the customers, and she did this all in her time.”

The refurbishment increased the selling space within the shop, which is open Monday to Saturday from 9am-5pm.
