CORSHAM’S Springfield Community Campus is nearing its final phase of completion.
More than 50 extra car parking spaces, including disable and minibus bays, at the front of the campus will be ready by April.
A new entrance and reception and refurbished dry changing facilities are expected to be finished in May. And in the summer the remainder of the work on the swimming pool, wet changing facilities, health and gym studio should be finished.
Last year saw the opening of the first phase of the campus which included the new library, cafe, climbing wall and exhibition space as well as the community rooms.
The sports hall recently re-opened following refurbishment due to flooding last summer, while the two squash courts which were also flooded should re-open within the next few weeks.
Wiltshire councillor Jonathon Seed said: “Delivery of this final development of the new campus will be a landmark for Wiltshire Council.”
