A MAN was taken to hospital suffering from whiplash following a car crash near Corsham on Wednesday (December 16).
The three vehicle crash occurred at 5.30pm by the Cross Keys junction on the A4 Bath Road at Pickwick.
A Vauxhall Zafira, Mazda MPV and Citroen C3 were involved in the crash.
Two people were cut out of the wreckages by two fire crews from Corsham and the driver of the Vauxhall taken to the Royal United Hospital in Bath.
The crash partially blocked the road in both directions between Chippenham and Bath.
There was also heavy traffic around the junction for Hartham Lane, with tailbacks as far as the Chequers Roundabout.
Anyone who witnessed the crash or with information should call 101.
