Car crashes into tree

FIREFIGHTERS were called to rescue a driver who crashed their car into a tree in Lacock in the early hours of this morning.
The crash happened in Bowden Hill at about 12.43am. Two appliances from Chippenham and Corsham attended including an emergency support unit.
Wiltshire Fire and Rescue Service confirmed one person was "severely trapped" in the car and had to be cut free.
The rescue operation lasted about two-and-a-half hours.
