Family tackles washer blaze

SIX people battled a blaze at their home in Euridge, Colerne this morning after their tumble dryer and washing machine caught fire.

Fire crews from Corsham and Bath attended the incident at around 9.50am but the family had already extinguished the flames using fire extinguishers and a garden hose.

Firefighters removed the burnt items from the home. No one was hurt or injured as a result of the fire.
