SIX fire engines attended a blaze in Neston near Corsham last night.

Appliances from Corsham, Chippenham, Calne, Melksham and Devizes were joined by specialist units from Chippenham, Devizes and Warminster in a bid to tackle a fire in a bungalow and pool room at around 9.40pm on Saturday.

Hose reels, breathing apparatus and ventilation fans were used to extinguish the flames. The cause is still under investigation.
