Chimney fire drama

TWO fire appliances from Corsham were called out to a property fire in Monks Lane, Gastard yesterday evening.
Fire crews attended the incident at around 5.50pm which turned out to be a chimney fire as a result of fiercely burning flames in the fireplace.
The blaze was brought under control and extinguished within an hour.
