A village panto group is celebrating its 30th anniversary in February with a production of Beauty and the Beast.
Box Pantomime Group have been rehearsing several times a week since October in preparation for their celebratory show during February half-term.
Director and choreographer Lisa Whitemore expects some of the audience will be former group members who will turn out to show their support for the anniversary.
Mrs Whitemore, of the Queen’s Head in Box, said: “We have former cast members coming along to see the show each year, also I imagine there will be a few who will come to see Beauty and the Beast.
“We will also be putting old pictures on display so that people can see them when they come in to the hall to see us perform.”
The panto will be at Selwyn Hall from Wednesday, February 17 to Saturday, February 20 with evening performances at 7.30pm and a matinee at 2pm on the Saturday. Tickets, £6.50 adults, £4.50 children, can be bought at Stop Press newsagents in Box.
