MATURE students on the Advanced Visual Studies Fine Art Course at Wiltshire College are displaying their work in Corsham this summer.
It went on show at the town library, Cinnamon Bistro in the High Street and the Red Forge Gallery in Station Road, on Monday and will be available for public viewing until September 27, although the Red Forge exhibition ends on August 30.
Fine Art tutor, Jill Lewin said: "Our mature students pursue their own individual projects at quite a professional level. I am delighted with the work they have all produced.
"Each year there are new ideas and I enjoy seeing the individual development of each student."
Prue Hawkins, who is studying Advanced Visual Studies in Fine Art said "The course is brilliant and the teaching is excellent.
"The project I have completed this year is a visual biography of my grandfather which was very meaningful to me.
"I am glad I have been able to express my thoughts through art and share them with others. I have met plenty of people and have signed onto next year's course for another few weeks of enjoyment."
Wiltshire College is raising the profile of art and design in the area by developing a centre in Corsham specifically for part-time mature art students.
