Three people were arrested following two drug raids in Melksham on Saturday.
26-year-old James William Smith of no fixed abode was arrested at Barnwell Road and later charged with possession of a Class A drug, believed to be cocaine. He was released on police bail and will appear before magistrates in Chippenham on January 4.
A 23-year-old man was also arrested for possessing cannabis and a 15-year-old girl for assaulting a police constable in a second raid at Littlejohn Avenue. Both were taken to Melksham police station, where the man received a formal caution, and the girl a reprimand.
