Melksham man Richard Newton has been remanded in custody after he was charged with the murder of his wife.
Mr Newton, 51, appeared before Bristol Crown Court this morning after the body of his wife Suzanne, 45, was found at their home in Barnes Wallis Close, Bowerhill, on January 13.
He will remain in police custody until his plea hearing on April 2. The hearing was due to take place on Friday, but was postponed due to heavy snow.
Mrs Newton worked for Darren Guinness Associates, a Calne-based employment agency.
