Peter Pan day in Melksham to boost Great Ormond Street Hospital
KIDS who never want to grow up are invited to a Peter Pan-themed fun day in Melksham on Saturday, September 28.
The charity event at The Foresters Arms has been organised by Rhiannon Boddington to raise funds for Great Ormond Street Hospital, where her seriously ill nephew is treated for a rare condition.
She said: “We’ve got a children’s Peter Pan-themed party in the restaurant, where we’ll be having party games and face painting, and hopefully a bouncy castle.
“For the adults we’ve got a raffle and karaoke, and local band El Nino will be playing.
“My nephew was transported to Great Ormond Street when he was born and they saved his life.I would like to raise about £2,600, but anything is helpful.”
The fun day runs from 1pm, with entry to the children’s party costing £5. For further details, contact Ms Boddington on 07809 624513.
