The A350 between Melksham and Semington was closed following a two-vehicle road traffic collision at 2pm today.
Police, fire and ambulance crews are in attendance, after one driver was trapped in their vehicle. The road was closed at 2.30pm but has now reopened.
The vehicles, a white skip loader van and red Peugeot, were travelling in opposite directions along the road when the collision occurred.
Police advised motorists to avoid the area until the road was reopened.
