Members of St George’s Primary School Council, Semington, held a cake sale last week in aid of the fight against cancer, part of the Marie Curie Blooming Great tea party.

The children, who raised £78.50 for the cause, would like to say a really big thank you to all the supermarkets which were so generous in their donations of cakes to sell – Asda, Waitrose and Lidl in Melksham, and Tesco in Trowbridge.
