Police have arrested a man in relation to a spate of graffiti vandalism on buildings in Melksham in August.
Grade II Listed pillars in Place Road were amongst those to have tags left on them which police believed had links to Mákina, a genre of hardcore techno music which originates in Spain.
Lloyds Bank, McDonald’s and Co-op Travel also had markings left on them as well as Tops Hair Salon, in High Street.
A 26-year-old man from Brighton will appear in court later this month.
Community Beat Manager Kane Fulbrook-Smith said: “This is a prime example of how the local NPT (neighbourhood police team) and the community worked together to detect crime in their neighbourhood.
“It is a great feeling when all the hard work comes together with very little to go on from the outset.”
